The Community will finance shade netting in parks in San Javier to create sustainable spaces

The regional government aims to promote healthier and more habitable towns in order to cope with climate change
This is one of 26 grants awarded by the Community to boost Nature-based Solutions in municipalities as part of the Regional Strategy on Sustainable Architecture and Construction.
Shade netting will be spread across various playgrounds in San Javier to create cooler shady spaces, which help reduce the effect of high temperatures. The Community finances this project in order to implement Nature-based Solutions (NBS) in the municipality, within the Sustainable Architecture and Construction Strategy (EACS).
