Final Event in Brussels of the European project GOGREENROUTES

On the 2nd and 3rd of July, the final event of the European project GOGREENROUTES, of which the Regional Cosejería of Development and Infrastructures is part of as a seed region, was held in Brussels. The Architecture Service attended the event to share the learnings and experiences of the project.
The aim of GOGREEN ROUTES is to position European cities as global ambassadors of urban sustainability. The aim is to shift the focus from SBN (Nature Based Solutions) to the co-benefits of multidimensional 360-Health. A solution to maintain and enhance urban sustainability and improve both the human and environmental environment and thus improve the relationship between people and their urban environment.
Throughout the two days of meetings, the results obtained in this transdisciplinary consortium pioneered a unique approach that aims to increase the use of NBS in urban design with the objective of fostering a positive relationship between humans and nature, recovering the connection of nature and promoting the engagement of citizens through digital, educational and behavioural innovation.
