The Directorate-General for Development and Architecture is taking part in the European project GO GREEN ROUTESwhich consists of a multidisciplinary consortium of 40 partners. The project will apply SBN in urban spaces in six laboratory cities, the so-called grower cities, to promote the health and well-being of citizens. GOGREEN ROUTES aims to position European cities as global ambassadors for urban sustainability. To do so, it aims to shift the focus of SBNs towards health co-benefits in a multidimensional setting, referred to as 360-Health. A solution to maintain and enhance urban sustainability and improve both the human and environmental environment, as well as the relationship between people and their urban environment.
