The building is situated on the outskirts of the village, on the edge of the "Pago Barranco" development, forcing us to respond to the boundary between urban and rural.

This building has been designed to manage energy and natural resources efficiently, storing rainwater for subsequent use. The lighting in the building uses LEDs, and a system of Canadian wells has been chosen as the renewable energy system to pre-heat the building. Additionally, the building uses a system of sensors; through a mini webserver it responds to climate needs by itself, activating the Canadian wells or the ventilation system as and when necessary.

Energy analysis software was used to make decisions in the design process, which took into account the building's surroundings, orientation and needs. This is what led to its irregular shape, which is open to the north, closed to the west, and with a large cantilever to the south, creating a shaded area and indicating the main access.
