The mysterious story of the
garden that produces water, Cehegín

How to create stories

It was a great void, a wound on the back of the upper part of Cehegín. Through a process of urban renaturalisation, we alleviated a great disconnect in the old town. We created a public space from which a vertical and horizontal garden sprouts, where the flora attracts the fauna, contributing biodiversity to the surroundings. With the help of riverbank plants, we purify the dirty water generated in the upper part of the town, thereby obtaining water suitable for watering the garden.

We recovered the natural paths produced by walkers - desire paths - making it possible to enjoy a sea of rooftops and Murcian vegetable gardens. We even managed to hide a building in a pocket of the path that houses a business incubator - a coworking space with shared offices from which initiatives emerge whose creativity is stimulated by this fantastic environment that has been created.
