The Regional Ministry for Development and CTCON will collaborate to boost innovation, to give a "second life" to building materials

The Regional Ministry for Development and Infrastructures and the Technological Centre for Construction (CTCON) will work together to boost innovation to drive forward measures that give a "second life" to materials used in construction. That was the agreement made today between the Minister for Development and Infrastructure, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, and the chairman of the Technological Centre for Construction, Antonio Navarro, during a meeting also attended by the chairman of the Regional Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs (Frecom), José Hernández.
Díez de Revenga highlighted the importance of "starting to introduce actions that speed up the transition towards sustainable architecture and construction, which are being encouraged by the regional government and are the basis for the new economic model promoted by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the European Urban Agenda 2030".
