Development and the College of Architects launch a competition to design a sustainable stand

The idea of the projects is to promote the Sustainable Architecture Strategy in the Region of Murcia

The Department for Development and Infrastructure and the College of Architects in the Region of Murcia (Coamu) have launched an ideas competition to design a sustainable, collapsible and accessible stand to be used by the Department at the Construction, Sustainability and Rehabilitation Fair (Fecons) 2022.

Awards

The winner of the competition will receive a prize of 5,000 euros, the runner-up 2,000 and third place 1,000. The managing director explained that the panel will evaluate the quality of the design, stand image, conditions for setting it up in the environment, durability, ease and speed of assembly and disassembly, and the economic cost of its execution.

The documentation about the competition rules will be available on the website of the Official College of Architects in the Region of Murcia, in the 'Competitions' section.

All projects must be submitted to the Competition Secretariat (Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de la Región de Murcia, Calle Poeta Jara Carrillo nº 5 Murcia) before 14:00 on 15 June.
