XXII ARCHITECTURE AWARDS OF THE REGION OF MURCIA

The aim of the Architecture Awards is to recognise the quality of the architectural work carried out in the region, placing special value on its contribution to society, contributing to the dissemination of the professional excellence of all the agents involved in the process and to the institutions and bodies involved.

The Architecture Awards of the Region of Murcia have been organised by the Regional Ministry of Architecture since 1985.
A new edition of these awards confirms the validity of this trajectory and the consolidation of this platform for the meeting and dissemination of architecture.
These prizes, which are awarded every two years, show the evolution of society through architectural achievements and contribute to transmitting and showing the cultural values of architecture to the public.

Furthermore, the Sustainable Architecture and Construction Strategy, approved by the Governing Council on 2 February 2023, includes among its lines of action the dissemination of knowledge in society about the benefits of sustainable building and urban space.

The prizes may be awarded to architects who, individually or as part of a multidisciplinary team, have been the authors of works or projects located in the Region of Murcia that have been completed between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2022.
